Nippon Tall Double-Handled Hand-Painted Vase With Roses
Nippon Tall Vase Handles Hand-Painted Roses – A striking example of fine porcelain with delicate hand-painted features is exhibited in this vintage Nippon vase. Deep magenta and lemon lime colored roses are hand-painted in stupendous array across the bulbous shaped body of the vase. A deep cypress green color can be seen around the edges of the triangular shaped pedestal base and in the upper portion of the vase. Several areas of hand applied enamel details decorate the body of the vase and gold-tone highlights are well pronounced throughout the vase itself. Magnificently ornate, scrolled handles reside on each side and the neck is slender and elongated. Unmarked this vase measures 10 1/2″ tall and 6 1/2″ wide. Loss of gold-tone with a couple of minor paint flecks. No cracks or repairs.
